About this event
The 2006 NSF Math and Science Partnership (MSP) Outreach Workshop with the National Disciplinary and Professional Societies will introduce their representatives to NSF's MSP program and foster their participation in the proposal process in response to the current solicitation (NSF 06-539), which provides a focused funding opportunity for the societies. The emphasis will be on developing and evaluating efforts, from the societies' perspectives, to encourage college and university faculty of mathematics, engineering and the sciences to work effectively in K-12 mathematics and science education.
