About the meeting:

CAFS Annual Meetings are essential to fulfilling the mission of the Center. By bringing together CAFS members, faculty and students, the annual meetings facilitate informal communication, while offering a formal mechanism for collaborating on research projects that will ultimately solve complex, industry-wide problems. In addition to presentations and poster sessions, there are ample opportunities for networking among members, faculty and students. The nine academic partners of CAFS - North Carolina State, Oregon State, Purdue, University of Florida, University of Georgia, University of Idaho, University of Maine, University of Washington, and Virginia Tech - look forward to this opportunity that helps us to better serve you.

Our hosts for the meeting this year are our friends at the University of Maine. They have arranged an interesting and informative field tour on June 28, as well as other fun activities that highlight the history, scenery, and flavors of New England.

I hope you will be able to attend. Please feel free to contact me, your Site Director, CAFS Deputy Director Lee Allen, or CAFS Operations Manager Lisa Schabenberger, about the meeting content or arrangements.

We look forward to seeing you in Bangor!
