Important Information for Proposers

Any proposal submitted in response to this funding opportunity should be submitted in accordance with the NSF Proposal & Award Policies & Procedures Guide (PAPPG) that is in effect for the relevant due date to which the proposal is being submitted. The NSF PAPPG is regularly revised and it is the responsibility of the proposer to ensure that the proposal meets the requirements specified in this solicitation and the applicable version of the PAPPG. Submitting a proposal prior to a specified deadline does not negate this requirement.

Biological Oceanography Office Hours

The National Science Foundation Biological Oceanography Program is pleased to announce Biological Oceanography Virtual Office Hours will resume starting in March.

Virtual Office Hours is an opportunity for the scientific community to ask questions about the Biological Oceanography Program and our review process. We encourage anyone considering submitting a research proposal or who has questions about our Program to attend. Time will be allocated for both open question and answer as well as questions provided during advance registration.

Our Office Hours will take place on the first Tuesday of each month via Zoom, starting on March 7^th, from 3-4 pm ET.
