Important information for proposers

All proposals must be submitted in accordance with the requirements specified in this funding opportunity and in the NSF Proposal & Award Policies & Procedures Guide (PAPPG) that is in effect for the relevant due date to which the proposal is being submitted. It is the responsibility of the proposer to ensure that the proposal meets these requirements. Submitting a proposal prior to a specified deadline does not negate this requirement.

GROW 2017-2018

GROW expands opportunities for U.S. graduate students to engage in international research collaboration. GROW is open only to active awardees of the Graduate Research Fellowship Program (GRFP). The GROW Dear Colleague Letter (NSF 16-012) provides detailed information about the program, eligibility, application instructions, and other requirements.

The GROW partner countries are: Australia, Austria, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Denmark, Finland, France, India, Ireland, Japan, Korea, Mexico, the Netherlands, Norway, Qatar, Singapore, and Sweden.

Only the countries listed are part of the GROW program, no other partners will be considered.  Some countries include approved institutions only, with other institutions considered on a case by case basis.  Check the GROW country website (see links below) and contact the partner agency on the country website for more information.

AOR Certification is not required.

The application must be approved by the Coordinating Official (CO) prior to the submission deadline of Friday, December 15, 2017, 5pm local time.
