Launch update on the USAP sexual assault and harassment climate survey
The U.S. National Science Foundation will begin gathering data to support the Sexual Assault and Harassment Prevention and Response (SAHPR) Program for the U.S. Antarctic Program (USAP). This survey will gather baseline data of sexual assault and harassment, bystander experience, as well as workplace satisfaction and cultural norms data within the USAP community.
USAP community members deployed between the years 2022 and 2024 will receive an email invitation to participate in the survey to share their experiences and perspectives related to sexual assault and harassment in the USAP. This study is authorized by law (42 U.S.C. 1862 Section 3.a.6.). The OMB control number for this study is 3145-0260.
