NSF is planning a series of in-person and virtual events across the U.S. throughout 2025. Highlights will include:

NSF@theMuseum

Join NSF and museums and science centers around the country for a day of outreach and learning on NSF's birthday.

Research open houses

Research facilities and centers across the U.S. will be hosting in-person and virtual open houses where you can learn about the exciting research happening in your community.

Video game design competition

Calling all video game designers: Starting in the fall of 2024, students can submit games they designed and coded to NSF's video game competition.

Science and engineering symposium

NSF will host a one-to-two-day symposium to highlight NSF's contributions to science and engineering, featuring speakers and interactive discussions.
