Located within the U.S. National Science Foundation Office of Budget, Finance and Award Management (BFA), the Budget Division is responsible for the development, analysis and execution of the agency's annual budget to the White House Office of Management and Budget and Congress.
The division's responsibilities include:
- Formulating and developing NSF's budget.
- Implementing and managing appropriate budget operations.
- Developing operating plans and special analyses.
- Supporting the development of long-range plans for NSF.
- Assisting the agency's chief management officer, chief financial officer (CFO) and deputy CFO in managing NSF's resources.
