All active NSF SBIR/STTR Phase II and Phase IIB grantees are required to attend the Phase II Grantees Conference scheduled to take place from May 9-12, 2011 at the Hyatt Regency Baltimore Hotel in Baltimore, MD. This annual conference is an opportunity for small businesses that have received NSF SBIR/STTR Phase II awards and supplements to share their technical and commercial achievements with the NSF program staff, potential investors and strategic partners, as well as having an opportunity to network with other small businesses for possible collaborations to grow their businesses. It also provides an opportunity to learn about new supplemental funding opportunities available to our Phase II grantees.
At the 2011 SBIR/STTR Phase II Grantees Conference, all grantees are required to participate in a Poster Session (except Supersize Phase IIB award recipients who are scheduled to give an oral presentation). All grantees will be scheduled for a one-on-one meeting with their NSF Program Director. If you have more than one active Phase II grant from NSF, these requirements apply to each award individually. You will also have a one-on-one meeting scheduled for each award.
