October 5, 2016- MIT Media Lab: Women SBIR Networking and Awareness Day:
This event has been designed to supplement the 2016 New England Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) Conference to deliver content and a networking opportunity for practitioners as well as a policy discussion to promote gender diversity in grant making. Attendees will hear from panelists who have moved technology out of the lab and into the market, discuss the importance of networking and mentoring in business and SBIR as an element of a company’s funding strategy, and hear a conversation of university administrators on the academy’s commitment to gender equality in science education and practice.
October 6, 2016- MIT Kresge Auditorium: 2016 SBIR New England Regional Summit @ MIT
The 2016 New England SBIR Conference is an engagement opportunity for innovators, technologists, and entrepreneurs. The event will convene technology companies, inventors, leaders and supporters of STEM entrepreneurship and early-stage funding decision makers to discuss non-dilutive funding opportunities provided through the Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) and Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) program and the impact the program has on directing U.S. technology and innovation.
