About the series

NSF program directors will provide information on the NSF Faculty Early Career Development (CAREER) program solicitation NSF 22-586 during webinars in May 2024.

The NSF-wide CAREER program supports early-career faculty who have the potential to serve as academic role models in research and education and to lead advances in the mission of their department or organization. Activities pursued by early-career faculty should build a firm foundation for a lifetime of leadership in integrating education and research.

Webinar dates and times are:
  • Friday, May 3, at 3:00 PM Eastern
  • Thursday, May 9, at 2:00 PM Eastern RESCHEDULED TO MAY 20
  • Monday, May 20, at 2:30 PM Eastern

NOTE: The webinar planned for May 9 is canceled. If you registered for the May 9 webinar, you will need to re-register for the new webinar on May 20.

All CAREER webinars will include the same briefing on the CAREER program and key solicitation requirements followed by a question and answer session. (Faculty who are interested need to attend only one.)

Please review the CAREER program solicitation and FAQs before the webinar. CAREER proposals are due July 24, 2024.
