The National Science Foundation and the Dallas County Community College District are holding an NSF Day workshops for community colleges Wednesday, November 16, 2011, at the Ellison Miles Geotechnology Institution on the Brookhaven College campus located at 3939 Valley View Lane, Dallas, Texas.
The workshop will provide an overview of the Foundation, its mission, its proposal and merit review process. It will focus on NSF topics and programs of particular interest to community colleges. The workshop will cover programs that include a workforce development component and other programs that impact technological education and workforce diversity. There will be a presentation on NSF's Advanced Technological Education program, among others.
