Considering NSF STEM Education Funding

About the series

The Directorate of Education and Human Resources is holding a workshop, "Considering NSF STEM Education Funding," this October 12th through 14th. Workshop participants will hear from and engage with NSF Program Officers, learn about EHR programs of interest, and gain insight to the merit review process and proposal creation.

The workshop will be hosted virtually through Zoom on the following dates and times:

  • Workshop Day 1: Navigating NSF, October 12, 2021, from 3:00 pm – 6:30 pm EDT
    Attendees will hear from panelists about their paths to NSF awards, including suggestions for when to begin writing proposals and discussing proposal ideas with NSF Program Officers.
  • Workshop Day 2: Partnerships, October 13, 2021, from 3:00 pm – 6:30 pm EDT
    Panelists will share successful tips about their partnerships, how partnerships were constructed, and overcoming challenges to success.
  • Workshop Day 3: Proposal Creation & Merit Review, October 14, 2021, from 3:00 pm – 6:30 pm EDT
    Participants will learn proposal writing strategies and best practices and explore the NSF merit review criteria and the role of NSF proposal reviewers.
