The Directorate for Education and Human Resources, Division of Human Resource Development (HRD) will hold the 2011 Joint Annual Meeting (JAM11) on June 6-8, 2011 at the Hilton Washington Hotel, Washington, DC. This year's JAM11 theme is "Inclusive Excellence". The keynote speakers are Carl Wieman, Associate Director for Science, OSTP, Joan Ferrini-Mundy, Assistant Director, Directorate for Education and Human Resources, NSF, and Marco Midon, Lead Systems Engineer at NASA Goddard.
HRD grantees work at the very core of the Foundation's mission to broaden participation and contribute immeasurable energy, expertise and effort to develop innovative education, research, and workforce programs. We anticipate that more than 800 persons will attend JAM, representing all HRD programs, as well as the directorates and offices at NSF.
