About the series
The recently issued program solicitation NSF 22-561 “Expanding Capacity in Quantum Information Science and Engineering (ExpandQISE)” aims to increase research capacity and broaden participation in Quantum Information Science and Engineering (QISE). With grants up to $5 million over up to five years, depending on track, the program will expand quantum engagement to new institutions, with a particular focus on those where more than half of students are from groups historically under-represented in the sciences.
The ExpandQISE Management Team will offer two informative virtual webinars, designed to present the solicitation and required elements of the submission, as well as answer questions from all potential applicants. The Team will also organize a virtual connections-building workshop, designed to facilitate contact between potential PIs and external Co-PIs on ExpandQISE proposals. Potential PIs from eligible Institutions, as well as Co-PIs from Institutions with established productive efforts in any of the sub-fields of QISE are encouraged to register.
Below please find links to registration sites for the three events. Registration is required, and it will generate zoom links for each participant.
The two webinars are identical in terms of topic and content of presentation, and offered on two different dates for your convenience, so it is sufficient to register for only one webinar.
The workshop will be organized only once. We encourage potential PIs and external Co-PIs to register for the workshop if you are registering for a webinar, unless you already have a well-established PI/Co-PI connection in place.
