GEO Quarterly Webinar

About the series

The Directorate for Geosciences will host an informational session for those interested in submitting Letters of Intent (LOI) to the Historically Black Colleges and Universities – Excellence in Research Solicitation (NSF 20-542). The LOI deadline is the fourth Thursday in July (July 28).

The webinar will also cover the GEO Innovation Hub activities. Get in the know of how new NSF funding opportunities in the innovation and community engagement space work, what successful proposals look like, and strategies to help you put them together.  Barbara Ransom from the GEO Innovation Hub will be talking about two major new NSF funding opportunities the Convergence Accelerator and the Civic Innovation Challenge and other innovation-related funding opportunities. Come listen to how they work so you can start building stakeholder teams now and be ready for the next competitions that will start up this summer and in the early fall.

Attendees will have the opportunity to learn about programs in GEO and ask questions of program directors and other staff.
