About this event
From February 29 through March 1, 2024 NSF, in conjunction with Alabama State University, hosted a 1.5 day intensive workshop for Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) in the Established Program to Stimulate Competitive Research (EPSCoR) jurisdictions of Alabama, Louisiana, and Mississippi.
The workshop was designed for representatives from two-year and four-year institutions in this region to gain insight regarding the grant application process by providing direct access to NSF program officers for specific directorates. Sessions were focused on information for administrators, sponsored research officers (SROs), and faculty researchers and discussed strategies to make grant applications more competitive.
A complementary virtual workshop was held on March 18, 2024.
Materials from the workshop sessions and other handouts are linked below.
