Public Information Officers and Communications Professionals,
Please join the National Science Foundation's Office of Legislative and Public Affairs at the Etter-Harbin Alumni Center, University of Texas, Austin for our next "Information Partners Workshop" on Monday, March 22, 2010. Our previous workshops have been great successes, with lots of exchange of ideas for strengthening our partnerships. Please join us to learn how you can promote your research using our growing list of media partners, tell us how we can better work together, and discuss communications challenges. We are making every effort to reach our communications partners around the country and truly hope you can join us for this Austin, TX area session.
Attendees will hear about NSF's many new communication tools and national media partnerships that will enhance your own outreach efforts. For this series of workshops, we are pairing our workshop with one for Principal Investigators (PIs). Our workshop will include some larger group discussions but will focus on separate, targeted breakout sessions for each group.
