About the series
Joint webinar featuring the National Science Foundation’s Division of Human Resource Development (HRD) & Division of Undergraduate Education, and the Department of Education’s Office of Post-Secondary Education (OPE) on Upcoming Funding Opportunities
The increasing demand for Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) educated labor is ever-expanding. High demand for STEM-educated students requires institutions of higher education to identify strategies that improve student retention, persistence, and engagement in STEM which lead to improved graduate rates. To this end, the National Science Foundation and the Department of Education’s Office of Post-Secondary Education offer funding opportunities targeted to eligible institutions (eligibility varies by program) to develop, promote, and/or improve STEM programs leading to improved student outcomes. The webinar is your opportunity to hear about current and future funding opportunities and areas of focus from NSF and OPE program officers.
