The NSF Division of Chemical, Bioengineering, Environmental, and Transport Systems (CBET) in the Directorate for Engineering will be hosting a virtual NSF-CASIS Transport Phenomena Program Day Event on Friday, January 14, 2022, at 12:00-3:00 PM Eastern Time. NSF and CASIS (the Center for the Advancement of Science in Space) partner to offer research opportunities onboard the International Space Station National Laboratory.
The event will promote science, broaden participation, strengthen partnership, increase public awareness, and prepare the research community for NSF-funded research in microgravity to benefit life on Earth.

The fiscal year 2022 solicitation for NSF/CASIS Collaboration on Transport Phenomena Research on the International Space Station (ISS) to Benefit Life on Earth (NSF 22-539) is now available. The deadline for full proposals to NSF is March 21, 2022, and the Feasibility Review Form is due to CASIS by January 25, 2022.
