About the series
This is a meeting of the industry advisory board and center members to assess ongoing research and set priorities for new research directions. Visitors interested in membership are welcome if they are willing to sign a non-disclosure agreement.
The review-meeting will include in-depth presentations of the various project-areas and opportunities for in-depth discussion with the students and researchers. Your organization's membership in the CAVE consortium allows you access to all other center-research areas in addition to access to your projects.
The Meeting will be held in Auburn at the Auburn University Hotel and Conference Center on September 15-16, 2010. Please note that the main meeting days are Wednesday and Thursday. The format of the meeting is a full 2 days, ending late Thursday afternoon. The tentative agenda is attached with this message.
If you would like to stay at the conference hotel, you can reserve your room by calling the AUHCC at 334-821-8200. The room rate for our meeting is $99 per night. Our room block covers the nights of Tuesday September 14, Wednesday September 15, and Thursday September 16. The deadline for room-block expiration is August 24, 2010. On that date, our room block can be released to the public if demand is high. It is always crowded in Auburn during Fall Semester, so rooms may become harder to find after the block expires. As always, meals during the Review will be provided.
To help us with planning for food and for the printing of the review books and CDs, it would be helpful if you could "register" your planned attendance by filling in the attached form. The form is a fillable PDF file, which can be returned to us via email or via fax at 334-844-3450.
