About the series
National Science Foundation and Holyoke Community College will be holding a one-day workshop on Tuesday, July 17, 2012. The workshop will be specifically focused on NSF programs of interest to community colleges. We want to extend an invitation to you and to anyone else at your institution who would like to attend this workshop and learn more about the NSF and its programs.
The workshop will focus on programs that include a workforce development component and other programs that impact technological education and workforce diversity. There will be a presentation on NSF's Advanced Technological Education program among others.
The National Science Foundation is charged with advancing science, mathematics, engineering, and technology education at all levels from pre-K through postdoctoral, as well as with keeping our nation's science and engineering enterprise healthy, dynamic, and relevant. It is our hope that events such as this will stimulate new interest in NSF programs at institutions that have not been among our traditional customers.
The workshop will be held at the Kittredge Center on the Holyoke Community College campus. There is no registration fee for this workshop. You can register by using the link below.
We expect that both those familiar with NSF programs and those who should be will find NSF Day at Holyoke Community College useful and informative. We hope to see you there.
