About this event
The U.S. National Science Foundation Growing Convergence Research (GCR) team will be hosting a virtual Town Hall webinar to provide information about the 2025 GCR competition. The webinar will include presentations focused on answering questions from prospective applicants about the current GCR solicitation (NSF 24-527), followed by a Question & Answer session.
Convergence research is a means for developing highly innovative solutions to complex research problems. NSF funds interdisciplinary and convergence research through a variety of mechanisms. The aim of GCR is to cultivate and grow the earliest foundations of convergent approaches. As such, proposals submitted to this solicitation are expected to explore novel avenues not previously investigated that are at the forefront of advancing science through deep integration across disciplines.
If you have a question that you would like the GCR program team to answer during the webinar, please submit it here by January 7, 2025.
The webinar will be recorded and available for later viewing on the NSF GCR website. Slides and recordings from previous GCR informational webinars, which include answers to previously asked questions, can be found here.
We look forward to your participation and engagement in this informative event. To receive updates about this event, along with notifications of future solicitations and events, sign up for the NSF GCR mailing list.
