TeraGrid '06 - Advancing Scientific Discovery
Dr. Arden Bement, NSF Director, will be the conference keynote speaker for the First Annual TeraGrid Conference -- TeraGrid '06, Advancing Scientific Discovery -- to be held in Indianapolis, Indiana, June 12-15, 2006. In addition, Dr. Dan Atkins, Director of NSF's Office of Cyberinfrastructure, and Dr. Kelvin Droegemeier, Professor of Meteorology at the University of Oklahoma, will be invited plenary speakers.
CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS: TeraGrid '06 is calling for presentations, demonstrations, posters, and organizers of birds-of-a-feather sessions.
All interested individuals and organizations are invited to participate.
Attendees will include scientists and engineers, researchers, faculty, postdocs, graduate and undergraduate students, high school teachers, representatives from federal agencies, business and industry representatives involved in grid computing products and services, and TeraGrid resource providers. Students are encouraged to enter either of two competitions: the TeraGrid CI-Impact Student Contest and the TeraGrid Student Research Competition.
