About the series
As part of the South Pole Master Planning process, a planning charrette will be held virtually. The facilitated charrette is designed to provide a forum for the scientific community to engage in conversations about science conducted at the South Pole Station and to discuss facility requirements, siting criteria, and infrastructure/ utility needs.
The charrette will take place over four days: August 22, 24, 29, and 31 from 12 - 6 pm EST (10 am - 4 pm MST) each day. The current agenda is noted below, however, it is subject to change.
