Webinar: Introducing the NSF Safe-OSE Program

About the series

To respond to the growing threats to the safety, security, and privacy of open source, NSF is launching the Safety, Security, and Privacy of Open-Source Ecosystems (Safe-OSE) program. This program seeks to fund impactful, mature open-source ecosystems to address important classes of safety, security, and privacy vulnerabilities. The Safe-OSE program emerges from the Pathways to Enable Open-Source Ecosystems (POSE) program, which supports new managing organizations to catalyze distributed, community-driven development and growth of open-source ecosystems. Read the funding opportunity for more information.

In this webinar, NSF program officers will outline the Safe-OSE program and describe the procedures and timeline for submitting proposals. The Zoom session will include a presentation – which will be recorded and posted on the NSF website with the presentation slides – followed by a moderated question and answer session.
