Join the U.S. National Science Foundation and Department of Commerce (DOC) on Oct. 4, 2024, 1 p.m. EST to learn more about an up to $30 million funding opportunity for a Network Coordination Hub to address the shortage of skilled workers needed by the U.S. semiconductor and microelectronics industry over the next decade.
Consistent with a mandate in the "CHIPS and Science Act of 2022" and building on inputs received through a recent public request for information (RFI), the Network Coordination Hub will run the National Network for Microelectronics Education and will be responsible for establishing, growing, operating, coordinating and managing the network with sufficient geographical extent and operational capacity to fulfill the semiconductor and microelectronics industry's workforce needs.
