Important Information for Proposers

Any proposal submitted in response to this funding opportunity should be submitted in accordance with the NSF Proposal & Award Policies & Procedures Guide (PAPPG) that is in effect for the relevant due date to which the proposal is being submitted. Dear Colleague Letter

CMMI to Extend Deadlines in Response to Recent Hurricanes

Dear Colleagues:

In the wake of the recent hurricanes, we understand that the health and safety of you and your loved ones are your top priority. The Civil, Mechanical, and Manufacturing Innovation (CMMI) Division is extending the CMMI unsolicited proposal submission deadline from September 15, 2017, to 5:00 PM submitter's local time September 22, 2017, in order to allow principal investigators and their institutions to focus on more immediate concerns. In recognition of the increasingly collaborative nature of NSF research, this extension extends to all persons submitting proposals under the current CMMI proposal submission window, regardless of their location.

No extensions beyond September 22 will be granted. Principal investigators are reminded that the next CMMI unsolicited proposal submission window is January 10 to 24, 2018.
