National Science Foundation (NSF) Review Process and Opportunities

Date: March 24, 2023
Time: 2:40 PM - 4:00 PM Mountain Time
Room: Grand Ballroom 2, Sheraton, I.M. Pei Tower, Second Level

The National Science Foundation (NSF) Human-Environment and Geographic Sciences (HEGS) program directors organize this session for HEGS-related researchers to exchange ideas that foster understanding of and participation in NSF review processes given that scholars play essential roles in the NSF proposal evaluation process. We welcome former HEGS reviewers and panelists to share their experiences and thoughts and invite questions on obligations, perspectives, as well as pros and cons of the review process and after the review. We will open the floor for general suggestions and conclude the session with contacts and opportunities for NSF engagements.
