Synopsis

The Human Resources Cluster includes both innovative and capacity-building investments in the training and education of the next generation of biologists. Programs in this cluster span multiple career levels, they focus explicitly on preparing a diverse, globally-engaged workforce, and they recognize the value of collaboration and building inclusive networks of researchers. A critical component of all programs in this cluster is broadening participation of individuals underrepresented in science to strengthen and expand the Nation’s scientific workforce by supporting diverse and inclusive research and training environments.
