For undertaking important research on how teachers, in the crucial first years of their professional experience, learn how to teach inquiry-based science using a supportive, technology-mediated learning environment that identifies the links between the teachers' learning, their practice of teaching, and students' learning. She is developing an integrated instructional resource, CASES, to help new teachers make sense of complex ideas about science teaching.
