This week with NSF Director Panchanathan

This week, NSF Director Sethuraman Panchanathan participated in key international and strategic dialogues, demonstrating NSF's leadership in fostering global partnerships and advancing cutting-edge research.

At the second "U.S.-Singapore Critical and Emerging Technology Dialogue," led by Secretary of State Antony Blinken and National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan, the director focused on expanding international collaboration with partners like AI Singapore to foster collaborative research funding. He highlighted an upcoming NSF-funded workshop on responsible artificial intelligence in Singapore, the broad potential of integrating innovation centers across countries to create a powerful global innovation ecosystem and the importance of building an international community of researchers and innovators dedicated to making a lasting impact. 

Additionally, the director participated in a dialogue on national computing strategy at the Center for Strategic and International Studies with National Science Board Chair Darío Gil. The conversation covered NSF's role in enhancing national computing capabilities and exploring innovative approaches to computing. The director highlighted NSF's commitment to building a diverse and skilled workforce to support future technological advancements.
