New opportunity for Engineering Research Initiation proposals on marine energy and hydropower

The U.S. National Science Foundation Engineering Directorate (ENG), in partnership with the Water Power Technologies Office of the Department of Energy's Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy, has announced a special funding opportunity on new science and engineering proposals submitted to the Engineering Research Initiation program in topics of mutual interest:

  • Marine energy and powering the blue economy.
  • Hydropower and climate change impacts.
