TOWARDS A NATIONAL AGENDA FOR HURRICANE SCIENCE AND ENGINEERING: PERSPECTIVES FROM FEDERAL AGENCIES

About the series

On January 24, 2006 the National Science Board’s Task Force on Hurricane Science and Engineering will be holding the first of a series of three public workshops across the country to summarize the current status of research relevant to understanding hurricanes as an integrated science and engineering problem. The Board will use information obtained in these workshops and other sources to develop a national research agenda for hurricane science and engineering. This first hearing will focus on the role of the federal agencies.
