This webinar is a live broadcast of a workshop that will bring together researchers in the biomedical and advanced computing fields to promote interdisciplinary work targeted at the understudied area of research: menopause and women’s health. Though attention has been paid to fertility, pregnancy, and childbirth in recent decades, other aspects of women’s health, such as menopause, have often been underserved. Artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning (ML), and other advanced computing methods can assist biomedical researchers and medical professionals by providing novel tools for exploring the complexities of menopause, including looking at the myriad endocrinological, aging, and disease changes associated with aging in women. This event aims to allow researchers from different disciplines to identify gaps in the science and share promising techniques and continuing challenges that could be solved by collaborative research in the future. Ultimately, resulting in the development of novel teams of women’s health researchers in the United States.
