Webinar on MPS Postdoctoral Research Fellowships

About the series

The Mathematical and Physical Sciences Ascending Postdoctoral Research Fellowships (MPS-Ascend) (NSF 23-501) program supports postdoctoral Fellows who will broaden the participation of members of groups that are historically excluded and currently underrepresented in MPS fields in the U.S. as they prepare to become future research leaders. The program is intended to recognize beginning investigators of significant potential and provide them with experience in research that will expand their research perspectives, facilitate interdisciplinary interactions, and enable their work on broadening the participation within MPS fields. The program funds postdoctoral Fellows in research environments that will have maximal impact on their future scientific development and facilitates their transition into a faculty appointment. Awards will support research in any scientific area within the purview of the five MPS Divisions: Astronomical Sciences (AST)Chemistry (CHE)Materials Research (DMR)Mathematical Sciences (DMS), and Physics (PHY). Fellowships are awards to individuals, not institutions, and are administered by the Fellows.

Please join us on Monday, September 18, 2023at 4:00 PM Eastern time for information on the MPS-Ascend program. Registration is required for the webinar via the following link: https://nsf.zoomgov.com/webinar/register/WN_LCkh01NCQUaqX1FBFDjWrA

Note: Please share this information with anyone who may have an interest in postdoctoral fellowships in Astronomy, Chemistry, Materials Research, Mathematical Sciences, and Physics.
