Important information for proposers

All proposals must be submitted in accordance with the requirements specified in this funding opportunity and in the NSF Proposal & Award Policies & Procedures Guide (PAPPG) that is in effect for the relevant due date to which the proposal is being submitted. It is the responsibility of the proposer to ensure that the proposal meets these requirements. Submitting a proposal prior to a specified deadline does not negate this requirement.

Review for the NSF Accelerating Research Translation (ART) program

The U.S. National Science Foundation's Accelerating Research Translation, or ART, program is looking for experts to review proposals. If you would like to serve as a reviewer for the ART program, please complete the reviewer interest survey by May 15, 2023.

The ART program, launched in February 2023, will support institutions of higher education to build capacity and infrastructure needed to strengthen and scale the translation of basic research outcomes into impactful solutions and practice. Through ART, NSF will provide up to $6 million per award over four years to academic institutions that have demonstrated strong basic science and engineering research but are eager to grow their translational research activities and develop the associated requisite infrastructure.
