Class of 2022-2023

Dr. Alec Drobac is a particle physicist and former member of the ATLAS Collaboration at the Large Hadron Collider at the European Council for Nuclear Research (aka CERN). Originally from the San Francisco Bay Area, he received his Ph.D. in 2022 from Tufts University, where he learned to love physics education and pedagogical research. After a wonderful year as a visiting professor at Skidmore College, Drobac is thrilled to be stepping into the world of science policy. When not at work, he practices martial arts, plays board games, reads science fiction and fantasy, and cooks with his wife, Hannah.
