Dr. Edwin Lee earned bachelor's degrees in electrical and computer engineering from Louisiana State University in 2009. He went on to complete his master's degree and doctorate in electrical engineering at The Ohio State University in 2016. While completing his dissertation, Growth and Nb-doping of MoS2 towards novel 2D/3D heterojunction bipolar transistors, Lee joined the Community, Access, Retention, and Empowerment Office at the Ohio State College of Engineering.
As a higher education professional, Lee gained expertise in developing initiatives to enhance the retention and academic success of engineering students through programs focused on career exploration, workforce development, and teaching students how to learn. Lee's passion for student academic success in STEM education is underscored by his TEDx Talk, "Embracing Failure as a Part of the Learning Process."
