Dr. Kevin Nevorski

Dr. Kevin Nevorski is a freshwater ecologist with expertise in carbon and nitrogen cycling in streams and rivers. He received a doctorate in biology from Michigan Technological University and a master’s degree in conservation ecology and bachelor's degrees in both biology and chemistry from Central Michigan University. He has worked in open-access scientific publishing at Taylor & Francis and has a strong interest in open science, science communication, and the intersection of research, policy, and social impacts. Kevin has a visual impairment and is passionate about creating accessible research and technology advancement of accessible STEM careers. Kevin will be supporting the U.S. National Science Foundation Accelerating Research Translation program.
