MPS Advisory Committee

The Mathematical and Physical Sciences (MPS) Advisory Committee advises the U.S. National Science Foundation and the MPS Directorate on issues such as:

• The mission, programs and goals that can best serve the scientific community.
• Priority investment areas in MPS-supported disciplines.
• Workforce development in the mathematical and physical sciences.

Several additional committees advise on specific MPS-related topics, such as astronomy and astrophysics and nuclear science research.
